Lewis didn't got a fine. He donated €50 000 for a student. That has nothing to do with the FIA Gala.

Lol of course they were connected. It was very clever, very positive all round.

If the FIA felt they didn't screw up at all and it was all Mercedes fault they would not go this path about the fine. Another example of the FIA's actions that suggest sympathy or guilt on their part.

They sat down, Hamilton said "how about I lob some cash at a charity?" and the FIA said "yeah, that'll do nicely".

It's like the FIA/Ferrari not-guilty-not-punished statement after PU-gate.

FIA won't want to be seen to be punishing the guy that suffered when the FIA's employee went off piste and handed the title elsewhere.

This is all pure face-saving political BS.

More probably (F1) we can not afford to lose face here so we have to sting you. (LH) well, I was going to back this student, can you claim that was the fine?

Available to who? If you mean media/public then never o'clock.

Not much to look at really apart from what we already know.

Pressure on the RD should be reduced which makes perfect sense.

So FIA are still pretending, in Para 32, that it was to finish under green. What a dishonest disgrace. It was always going to finish under green, that was WHY Michael Masi was not going to unlap the lapped cars.

And why do they have to lie like this? Because they, or their partners F1, told MM to do the partial unlapping.

So after the FIA investigated th FIA, the FIA found that the FIA did nothing wrong.

However, the FIA did find that the big bad team bosses made the FIA make a mistake, so here's what the FIA is doing to protect the FIA from this in future and make the FIAs job easier for the FIA to do.

We hope the FIA well now feel better about Abu Dhabi and that the FIA will be able to do the FIAs job much better.
