This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
The whole thing about Mclaren this year is smelling very a la Whitmarsh era... I see on the wall the Mp4-24 and mp-28... Anyway it was good while it lasted. Maybe Seidl is right. You cant compete at the front with the simulator they have and by doing business trips to Koln, Germany.
I guess we better cherish what we got in 2021, because it doesn't look like we will get even close to what they achieved last year any time soon.
It seems that way. Let’s hope and wish it’s not a fundamental problem with the car and the team can come on top of it in the coming races Otherwise I’ll just have to rewatch last year’s Italian GP a couple of more times.

It’s what frustrated me last season with the defeatist attitude amongst the fans last season when we lost P3 to Ferrari because ‘2022 will be better- that’s the aim’
For me you should fight in the battle you are currently in because there are no givens in the future.... fast forward 6 months and we are battling the Force India’s again for P13....

So you are ready to throw the towel after round 1 only?

You haven't even seen qualifying or the race to truly gauge were the team is yet
I still don't think it's as bad as it looks. Even if Bahrain is a bust, the other teams are more optimised around here because of our poor 3 test days, there's no escaping it. Qualifying could be rough, the race could be rough, but we are at the early stage of a developmental season. Let's hope for better once the car does more laps. It's got to be full throttle now for the guys back in Woking.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.
@2018 Singapore Grand Prix drivers press conference.
Can't believe all the hysteria after we haven't even had one race. Noone knows yet what the exact problems are or how easy it will be to fix. It's a long season though and there is plenty of water to go under the bridge yet. We showed promise in Barcelona. It's not over yet, Not by a long shot.

I cant believe what I`m reading. Its feels like a bunch of kids who lost their toy! Come on guys. Its a technical forum. Of course I feel a bit like I've slapped in face but we have said it a million times. Its the biggest rule changes. It will take 3-4 races or more to see what everyone can do. We have to wait the race and what the team stuff have to say. If the case is that we are so slow we will wait for the new simulator and wind tunnel. We should have faith to Seidl and the others. If they got it wrong they will fix what they can with the money left available.
I would like to be in the place of a Ferrari fan but I am not. At least wait for the first 3-4 races.
