So when do the fans start saying Russell is rubbish and a perfect wing man ?
Not yet, since Russell made quite a bad mistake. Not too representative just yet.

Meanwhile, Forza Ferrari! =D> =D> :D

With Binotto, Leclerc and Sainz, Ferrari really are a very likeable team these days.

And stroll by the Hulk again lol
If Russel doesn´t have a very serious technical issue in his car(which I firmly believe he does), this is the biggest "finding out" in F1 history. Firstly, Albon´s performance already suggested of George being massively flattered the past years and then Q3, what was that?!
Well Russell choked.. need to wait for a clean lap to see where ge stands. But not good for Merc if he keeps choking
George was plus or minus 1/10th with Lewis right through quali until the last Q3 run, looks like he can live with Hamilton. Rare mistake, at least based on his past performance.

Good to see Ferrari back near the top, if Mercedes can get on top of their issues we could see 3 teams battling for poles and wins. I wonder how forgiving leclerc or Sainz will be if max try’s a dive bomb up the inside.
Leclerc won’t give him an inch. There is genuine history there.
This.

I used trolling language which riled up exactly the posters I suspected, but those two have literally banged wheels their entire life. My comment wasn’t made in a vacuum.

Is Hamilton doing a Rossi tribute with all his day glo yellow?
I was curious about it, but after doing a bit of research he did indeed use a neon helmet for sometime when he was in go-karts.

Stellar job from Ferrari! In a couple of races Mercedes will also be up there and then it will be a very interesting season

New TV graphics sucks. Ferrari engines are on another level. There is a Haas on P6, four tenths quicker than a Mercedes placed on P9. AND Max vs Charles should be a nice one. Let's see tomorrow.
I´m trying to contain my words for how they managed to incorrectly display the purple sectors, specially.
LMAO that was funny and horrible at the same time

Russell 1 sec of in the first sector split, and the sector time bar is colored purple

Bit early to say Mick’s being found out or Russell’s x or y - it’s one session. You heard what Charles said about driving styles, it’s a whole new ballgame, and experience is probably counting for a lot (look at Alonso and Bottas).

I think both will come good this tbh.

The time to judge Russell will be at the end of the season, not the very first qualifying session of cars with new regulations and a car that isn't working as Mercedes want it to.

Should be a very intense battle between Leclerc and Verstappen tomorrow.

Not to be disparaging of merc, it’s not about them specifically… but I think F1 needs to focus on the cars going for POLE. Leclerc and Verstappen were on hot laps and we were watching RUSSEL go 1.5 seconds off? No. Please.

Seems the only three complaints are known Max trolls.

Got it.
Haha not even a max fan! You just don’t want to be introspective and perhaps admit that you aren’t constructively contributing with those jibes. Allowing this fine technical forum to be polluted with nonsense. You honestly haven’t got the capacity to self reflect?
No it was trolling, but those two have a long history of crashing into each other. It wasn’t made in a vacuum and anyone who knows of them before F1 knows this.

It’s a spicy front row.
Doesn't mean you should be naming them like that, it makes you look silly.

Gotcha, thanks. I know he has a good relationship with Valé - and the timing after Rossi’s retirement seemed coincidental- so just wondered.

Only until it gets back to the front of the grid (if it does). Then it'll be because it's illegal, obviously.

It's fair to ask what has he ever done in F1 that he has this reputation? Beat Kubica and Latifi? He was only slightly faster on race pace than Latifi
Agree and the British pundits from Sky and whatnot will have a harder time hyping George up now

First race of his career as a full time Merc driver in a new concept car, 1 tenth down, and he is being found out?

Get over yourself
:?

Who is going to tell him?

Will not crucify my coleague, though, as I also missed his alleged mistake on T1, afterall
