And how do you know it's a fundamental problem and not a lack of 150 laps in testing at this track?

Magnussen’s tyres are 10 laps older and they are soft. Not relevant.

That’s a silver lining… It wasn’t talked much, but McLaren is supposed to have a new / innovative pit stop equipment (the guns themselves)

At present we have to take any wins we can. If the car is running poorly, it’s good to see other areas are in good shape

I wasn’t tracking Alonso, but that’s a good point… Alonso’s last lap was 1.38.7, Lando’s last lap was 1.38.8… Russell has been above the 1.39’s for several laps now (his last lap on Hards was 1.39.4)

management needs to withhold the urge to go Ferrari of old scorched earth campaign and begin drop kicking people left and right, need to put the no blame culture they have built into practice.
