Close enough that air will likely not be in tip top shape right now or the whole weekend for the matter. And even beyond the simple matter of breathing, it will be a problem for cooling given all the particulate from smoke in the air.

I suspect long before cooling becomes an issue you'd see people at the circuit feeling sick, getting headaches, sore throat.

The commentary team keep rabbiting on about the 'helmet cam view'. Do people like it? I personally think it is terrible.
One of the pundits called it night club cam, which is how it looks to me.

The view of instrumentation is good, but the track view drives me nuts. Am I alone here?

Not at all. Hate the view. Makes me sick watching it and the glare on the drivers visor is terrible. Can’t see much at all. They need to bin it.
