F1 jumped the shark by going to Saudi.

I remember Jimmy Broadbent doing a drive round the track in a sim and it looked horrendous, I couldn't believe it was a real F1 track. I was surprised last season's race went without a big incident, it's an utter death trap.

That was a horrible crash for Schumacher, he had no chance of saving it but it was lucky he went in sideways and not head on.

Everybody knew from the beggining the track is not only boring but also dangerous
They are driving full throttle at 300kph through blind corners, it’s surprising things are going this well.

The video showed Mick being normal, but on stretcher. Great to see that! =D>

Interesting that he said the radio completely cut out on impact. Wonder if that is something that they will look into modifying in future for safety. Maybe a separate battery or communication system that would survive on no power from car.

The radio might be in the front of the car. If the antenna is near the front, an impact like that would take it off and then there's no way to communicate.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Just had some footage of Mick on the stretcher, talking and moving freely enough. Which is good to see.

they are putting electronics in the bib this year, maybe damaged from impact. the roll hoop camera came off without the hoop making contact, a measure of the impact force.

Jenson saying it looks like lewis is struggling to understand the circuit.
Yet he had no issues understanding the circuit last season. It seems based on observed evidence that the problem is more likely to be an inability to get the tyres operating properly

may be a fast car makes it better to understand. working gas and break maybe did not require much understanding.
anyway you need to take it up with Jenson. he made comment. I just repeated.

Interesting you chose that comment to repeat rather than all the others which point to tyre/set up issues 🤔

Can we keep it to racing and not wars?
