I hope the FIA will look at the manhole covers and make sure they cannot be dislodged by the downforce of the cars.. Anyone remember the World Sports Car race in Montreal in 1990 ?

Question: Does the Pit have to be at Start/Finish on a circuit? I know all of them are, but is it written in the rules?
I don't think it does matter.

Anderstorp had a Start/finish in a different place to pits, and several of the FE races have had start and pit in different places.

The start and aren't always at the same place..so am sure they can do what they want!

For F1 they bring a lot of stuff from the pits to the starting point. To reduce this, they just need to do the lap to the grid on the race tire and maybe do another installation lap on another tire before. The remaining issue is the tire warmers...once they are banned, they need not more than cooling fans, anyways handheld, and a laptop at the start.

So I think the idea is good, but today difficult to do in F1.

Yep ... but there's enough room for a pit complex on parking lot 1

Vegas night time temperatures in November appear to be <5°C? Have Liberty considered this?

I'm still waiting to see them build circuits with really low pit deltas to open up more interesting strategies.
I don’t understand this either. The original Hanoi layout appeared to be designed with a reduced pit delta in mind, then it was revised, then if was cancelled.

This is going to be another boring circuit where we race just for money. I dont like the direction F1 is going to.

If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I don't know whats worse? Another American race or another street circuit. Surely neither is needed.
America is a big market. Almost unlimited growth potential. Massive value. So why not three races?
