Hmm. I rather watch high speed than low speed processions. At least you can get some overtakes with a tyre differential.
Very good point !

And let’s hope the same happens in Melbourne this weekend!

Interesting to see that the curvature of the planes are really different between RB/FER and Merc. Merc almost flat, while RB/FER have a rise towards the vertical structure.

Track changes can be seen onboard the safety car. I think the changes take some of the technicality out of the circuit; it looks easier to me.

Wow the runoff at Turn 5 is basically non-existent now - that tecpro barrier seems to be on top of the kerb

Yeah, Turn 5 is going to be a definite pinch point on the first lap.

That's weird and funny! I hope they clarify why they are doing it and if there is any safety issue associated with piercings or jewellery. Hopefully this is not an outcome from last year's Abu Dhabi investigation. :D

Jewelry = weight.

I cant believe that the teams even allow small bits of metal to be in the car at operating speed anyway!

"He"? A number of drivers wear jewellery of various types including chains.

Never understood why they'd want to wear such things, but that's personal choice for you.

It's an interesting rule change/clarification. Unless they can show there's a definite safety issue, it would seem to be just someone in the powers that be not liking male jewellery.
