Of course you could conclude that. However, what you also notice is that there is a whole part that isn't covered.godlameroso wrote: ↑21 Apr 2022, 19:40
So that flow vis in the Ferrari diffuser, it's not going outwards? It looks like it's outwashing, especially at the top of the diffuser. Are my eyes deceiving me and is that actually inwash?
Diffuser designed for outwash looks like this:godlameroso wrote: ↑21 Apr 2022, 19:40https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FMSIv6yXoAg ... ame=mediumwesley123 wrote: ↑21 Apr 2022, 18:51There's no real outwash going on. The diffuser walls are straight, and actually tuck inwards at the base.godlameroso wrote: ↑13 Apr 2022, 01:59https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FMSIv6yXoAg ... ame=medium
Don't believe your lying eyes 3 cars 3 different attempts to create outwash with the diffuser within the regulations with flowvis to boot, but yeah. Fake internet points = correct around here I guess.

Not sure what you were expecting, Imola isn't a low DF track. When the DRS is enabled that Flap does open you know. The lower part of the Rear wing, the leading edge is raise a bit in comparison to the middle and that cuts the amout of air it will scoop. I'm sure they can change the angle ever so slightly and change the amount of DF/drag it will create.

Also the winglets on the assembly

So that's where the upturn in performance came from
I never questioned their choice of rear wing, I was just asking if they have used the same rear wing for the last four races….diffuser wrote: ↑26 Apr 2022, 17:58Not sure what you were expecting, Imola isn't a low DF track.
