Was the Ferrari of Charles porpoising the entire race or only at the end there?

Sainz didn't seem to have the same issue with graining though

Looked like a big tyre drop off for Charles about 4 laps from the end. Perez was on the charge aswell to close up 4-5 seconds to Charles.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Last lap LEC wasn't pushing at all, just bringing the car home, no point in risking keeping up with anyone with no tyres.

This one looks like redbulls to lose. Disappointed to see the Ferrari eat its tyres, but what goes around comes around from Australia. Good sprint imo. Good racing, passes for the lead.

It is just a "recover from mistakes" session, nothing more. Fast cars overtake, slower cars have their quali efforts wasted.

The mercs cant even pass with DRS. Been .4 to .5 for a few laps. DRS train though.
Hamilton can't pass*.

Russell had some nice maneuvers.
What race were you watching? Hamilton lost two positions off the start and Russell one. They both recovered exactly one position each to finish 11th and 14th but don't let that get in the way of your pseudo-blindness.

They each had one overtake total.

I don't like it at all. Drivers in slower cars need to be rewarded for their qualy performances not give the faster cars a double opportunity.

EDIT: Replied to the wrong comment.

Best sprint yet, not a fan of the format, most overtakes were too easy, but that was easily better than any of last year.
Red Bull really on form this weekend, Ferrari has a tough race for tomorrow.
Mclaren best of the rest but by a huge margin, can't trouble the top 2.
Mercedes even worst than expected.

Pretty much this. Can see Russell turning into the team leader pretty soon like this.

Imagine how big would have been the tyre drop for Leclerc if there was no SC... Alonso too suffered a big tyre deg apparently !
Perez looked even faster than Max.
Sainz didn't suffer tyre deg despite going through the traffic.

I am really ager to see how the race will unfold tomorrow

This. It seems like all the cars on the left hand lane lost out on lap 1 after the Ricciardo/KMag contact since Danny had to slow down a touch.

It wasn't tyre deg, it was graining like RBR in Australia, Ferrari probably needs more front wing.

It actually seemed like tires were holding up in traffic better than in clean air. Charles seemed to be the only one having issues, Perez doing the fastest lap despite having to push for several overtakes.
