How much do you think is the lap decifit between Mclaren and the first two?

At the moment, it seems on average just a bit less of a second per lap.

Edit: It's also very obvious where the laptime is lost. I was keeping an eye on the gaps earlier and Lando was actually a bit faster than Leclerc through t2, t3 and t4. But then he lost massively on the two chicanes later on. Slow speed corners still a huge weakness.

What are they targeting with Daniel? Are they going to the end trying to do the undercut to 10th position? It will be genious if they manage to pass that DRS train by that way.

Unfortunate that Daniel is struggling so much. You would expect Hards to take a bit longer to heat up, but still, his pace is pretty bad right now.

The hard tyres are not working on Daniel's car...

I suppose the race of Daniel is ruined.

Daniel’s lap times on Hards aren’t very good… It may be too cold to get those tires in the right window.

They probably put him in that tire to learn about it

I mean, either way he wasn't getting any points where he was before pitting. But a bit disappointing to have it go wrong for Daniel this race.

I don’t understand the hard swap. They could have gone for another medium no?

Daniel on Hards is something that I don’t fully understand… He had a set of mediums available, if they wanted to get out of the DRS train and have potentially more tire life compare to the guys in front, why go to Hards instead of another set of mediums… The pace on Hards is nowhere really and if they were expecting to have a tire advantage towards the end, he is too far to make anything happen apparently

It's probably a bit too cold for Hards. They definitely messed it up, but oh well.

they should put soft on Daniel's car...the strategy does not make any sense, even just for a viewer (like me)

A little early… Softs didn’t last 21 laps in the Sprint, maybe with with less than 15 laps left… Even when there wouldn’t be anything to gain on track, maybe something to learn for the future

track condition is different compared to yesterday, it is much colder. soft will last a bit more
