Sainz should really get back to the drawing board. Keeps crashing, and when he keeps on track, he often impedes others... and gets spanked by Leclerc in the process.
Meanwhile hes 0.016 behind him... Fully spanked

Great lap. Sainz decent. I would say he got spanked hard.

Verstappen bodged it this time, curious what the race pace is tomorrow, if RB can keep up with Ferrari they'll blast by in the DRS zones.

Indeed. Their top speed will be fully decisive tomorrow, again. The Ferraris can only go faster in the twisty parts for so long tomorrow with heat, before they start to struggle. They need to work even more on making the car more efficient on the straights.

Bottas was on fire there! That Alfa is firmly in front of the Mercedes they just can't keep it up for the races.

Not a bad qualifying, kudos to Ferrari both drivers looked great, Max a little unlucky with that snap on his quick lap.
Bottas is doing great at Alpha Romeo, nice to see Lewis in the 3rd row again which is the best Mercedes can hope for just now.

Unless tire preservation will become limiting factor. In that case more load could be crucial.

Yeah, from looking at the W-series race in bits it looked very hard to overtake. Whilst there was some however.

Its going to be impossible to overtake anywhere but the Start finish line and along the straights.

They have race pace going by the last GP, unfortunately they get bad starts and pit stops way too often.
Russell being slower than on friday is stupefying...

I know right. Merc is surely baffled. Could all in tires vs suspension. But who knows what they really tested on underfloor.
