Played well into Perez hands here. Fresh mediums vs old hards.

Guess Ferrari couldnt have pitted for another set of hards as no new meds available

I'm not sure, fresh tyres should be so much faster even without track position. But then 30 lap old hards were still competitive earlier in the race. Hmm.

Ferrari had no fresh tyres left, apart from a set of hards. If they stopped, max would have stopped for new mediums

Perez should be able to get Sainz and Leclerc. Don't know what Ferrari could've done there.

What's the reason for VSC first in an instance like this where it will so obviously be a safety car. Is that just the procedure now?
