Checo is on fire round here today. Wouldnt put it past him to get it on pole.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

So it seems Red Bull have found some pace and/or turned up the engine… Ferrari has a fight on its hands here.
It's only Perez it seems, like yersteday.

Verstappen doesn't have the pace  i don't remember last seeing it, but it's real. Perez is faster all the time. So it'll be Leclerc vs Perez and then Sainz vs Verstappen in my opinion. Mercedes maybe gets 5th with a mega lap but i'll be hard.

If Perez gets pole his only hope of winning is there is at lleast a car between him and Max, sad to say. I can't see him being allowed to finish in front of Max if the two of them are nose to tail.

In Jeddah Perez was faster all week end too until the SC.

Horner greatly underestimated the Mexican spirit in doing that team orders faux pas last weekend.
Was it Checo's first year here at Monaco when he had that almighty prang coming out of the tunnel?
This was one of the best practices I've watched

Edit:

It's interesting how driving an F1 car feels in reality :-k Is it closer to that smoothened edit, or is it as shaky as it looks in original TV coverage?

The human brain has a built in image processor including stabilizing images, so I think from a driver's PoV, it should be less shaky than the Helmet cam, probably more like the smoothed image you posted there.

that helmet cam is total garbage, all they do is create drama where there is none to make viewers think that drivers are some sort of superhumans

I know it is only Q1... but that is a solid time for Russell to wring the neck out of the Mercedes for P3 and get amongst the Ferraris and Bulls.

They (Merc) are miles off... it was just track improvement + new tyres.

RedBull suspension is just awesome, it just knows how to stabilize the car everywhere, pure magic.
