What kind of nonsense is this again?! Which haters/people are you talking about?proteus wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 11:41He was hated for most of his F1 career, especially when he got promoted to RedBull. Since that didnt materialize, he is scruteneered for every little mishap that happens.
You are quite right but if they`ll have an SC/VSC after the soft tyre life like +30 laps which is then the best strategy?JordanMugen wrote: ↑28 May 2022, 19:44Definitely the opposite IMO. Track position and taking an early pitstop under safety car is more important. More like minimum 1 lap first stint on soft tyres, then pit for hards at the first safety car (e.g., if there is a first lap incident) or pit for mediums a little later.atanatizante wrote: ↑28 May 2022, 17:52We all know had tomorrow is a dry race there's a one-stop race. On this circumstances could it be a 50-55 laps first stint on M tyres and the second stint (23-28 laps on softs) a win strategy?
Overcut and warmup will indeed a be a problem, but is still better than running long and putting on faster soft tyres at the end which are of no use because you can't overtake all the cars you have fallen behind. Unless the long stint on mediums is just a team play to make a blockade and back everyone up!
Some seem to just like to read into things far more than they really need to, one little comment. Not just Max/Checco. Hamilton is under the same kinda acuity all be it as with the above reading way more into it makeing perhaps one small genine issue into something bigger than it is think we saw it last year with Lewis and Max they had a few moments where there was some genuine tension but a majority of the time they get along well on trackWouter wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 10:37The relationship between Checo and Max is excellent, there is no tension at all.Mogster wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 10:18Why is it nonsense? There’s clearly tension between the 2 drivers which RBR will have to manage. RBR can give team orders but having the drivers comply is another thing.
I find the changing dynamic between Max and Perez very interesting. It’s quite unlikely but if Perez wins today it could be explosive…
After a good chat right after the Barcelona GP, Checo understood why RBR had made those decisions and he agreed.
If checo drives for Max during the train ride today, RBR will not intervene.
Leclerc and Sainz are 1-2 and then Checo is 3rd with 15 points and Max 4th with 12 points. Before the GP RBR had already taken into account that Ferrari would achieve a 1-2 here and if Checo finishes ahead of Max then there will be no problem for anyone with many races to go. And Checo is happy and Max is happy for Checo.
And IF Checo wins today, he'll deserve it and the whole team is happy, nothing will explode.
Thats just your whishful thinking.
Edit: Also Max knows that Checo is and was always very quick in Monaco and he accepts that.
Looks like they may miss it although I do have a radar on one site thatshows heavy showers around 2pm which get very close to the area- as always we are relying on the accuracy of the weather apps
Go back to his start in STR. And you will see, he was disliked right from the start.Wouter wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 12:18What kind of nonsense is this again?! Actually I think this is only stating the obvious: that fanboyism of some leads to exaggerate the temper of Max, see tension with team mate, saying is he is immature etc.Wouter wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 12:18What kind of nonsense is this again?! Danny RIC is not coping well with the car... Why is a puzzle to me as well.He needs a more balanced car to flourish? If he doesn't turn the table (soon) it'll be his last year at McL.Schuttelberg wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 09:23What is going on with Danny Ric???
Quite shameless of Carlos to say he missed pole because of the reds. He was nowhere while Charles was on a lap that would have made the gap between them look quite bad for Carlos!
That tweet translated says no work done to the gearbox?
Ah, next tweet down says change of gearbox.CONFIRMED: Carlos Sainz will start from 2nd place with the Ferrari F1-75 in Monaco!
No problems arose with the gearbox and no work was done other than replacing damaged parts.
The second tweet (unroll the thread) say the opposite.
