Seeing all those boats next to the track, it looks like it's Miami gp again.
Just with a proper Marina!

This is bad for F1 as an entertainment event. I understand safety concerns, but if you want a risk free event, you shouldn't start racing to begin with. Why not run for a few lapsbehind the safety car and then just start?

Clearly too wet to race. Yes, they should have got going, but in hindsight the FIA have justified their call.
Why? They should have started the race on schedule then deal with this.

This is pathetic, it could have been such an exciting race, if you crash, you crash, those who don't will finish higher up and that's the point.

Other racing series do not need baying, why do these car when we are always told they are the best cars and drivers in the world?
If half the grid piled up and was taken out of the race you'd be criticising them for ruining the race. It would have certainly happened with that amount of rain at racing speeds.

I totally abhor the direction the sport is heading in. The job of the race director is not to use a crystal ball or create artificial entertainment. He is there to react to events as they happen. What if it didn't rain anymore? We would have changed TV schedules for no reason.

They're clearly waiting for a dry line to appear so we get even less chances of overtaking than in the full dry race

Not in a million years would a sound minded person blame the unfolding of luck.

If that happened it would be an extreme event caused by nothing more than chance as starting the race on time and allowing the drivers to fight through would have been to plan, with no interference.

Again I don't know what kind of person would moan and blame things happening by chance, that's mental
