Might be too late now. He has only 19 laps maybe less unless Rusell's tyres start to drop off.

Norris is gonna have the chance to change tyre and take a glory run to gain the fastest lap
Or for a final attack against medium tyres....

A couple more laps and go for Softs? That’s what I would do… But every pit stop implies some risk, but if they want to try and do something different, the window will close soon

It's a pity as we had the 3rd fastest car here by some good marjin. It's not like I expect Mclaren to gain 3rd position but every little victory against Mercedes is good. At this point go for softs and try to get Russell.

Team should be ready to jump on a SC/VSC situation and fit softs on Lando. Maybe go for it even without it, hoping that it happens.

Not worth it in my opinion. The pace difference will not be that huge, and even if it is, by the time Lando catches George it will definitely not be enough to go for an overtake. Fernando is going at snails pace and Lewis is unable to overtake him ...

If you looked Hamilton-Verstappen battle several years ago, you can know, there is no chance to overtake even with 3-4s faster car

But why not do it if it is free? He could get a point for fastest lap at least.

I have a feeling team always has very conservative strategies, which make sense if you are a top team but we are a midfield team so being more aggressive would pay off sometimes.

What a joke of a strategy, as usuals McLaren not doing well in a wet race strategy.

They have to make some changes to Monaco. Given that the track can't really be changed, maybe they should disable blue flags during Monaco. That would get front runners to struggle to overtake backmarkers causing bunching up and chaos.

Really?! Don't blame them for playing the safe option, Lando was in no position to go aggressive on it.
