They actually all look pretty similar in downforce. Ferrari the deepest profile but only in the center, Mercedes the shallowest but over the entire width, RB between those two extremes.

I see immense similarity and parallels between Max and Michael Schumacher and every time it so happened in Michael's career that there was talk of a rival finally being within the realms of competition, he just smashed in three or four races where he obliterated them. I remember David & Rubens both entering these discussions and actually doing well for a while but then they fizzed out!
Checo is exactly there and while brilliance over certain parts of the season has never been his issue, he does struggle with qualifying and consistency. Let's see if he does a Webber 2010 or a usual Coulthard/Barrichello.

My personal feeling is that Max might not win here, but he will set the record with Checo.

I can't remember Checo ever pulling a gap in a race. Even in Jeddah where he had pole, and fell back due to an unlucky safety car, once the max and charles were in front of the train, Carlos and Checo dissapeared in the rear view mirror quickly. In Monaco he also didnt have the pace and started graining tires. But yeah, it was Monaco.

Top of the flap, and tried to do some scaling but it's probably not precise enough, although the difference should be relatively minimal from a properly scaled set of images.

That wasn't scaled so just a rough overview.

I marked the hinges and center of the wings and scaled them all to the same width to the best of my abilities (source images were low res) - with the assumption that Fabrega took all those images from a similar distance whilst standing (same camera height) this should allow a somewhat accurate comparison with the Mercedes wing as baseline for the copypasted reference lines.

Looks like Checo had too much fun at Monaco! Sometimes I feel for famous people. They have no privacy whatsoever.

Checo has always come across as an emotional bloke. One should have fun but I just feel that to beat that beast called Verstappen, he will need a single-mindedness of monumental proportions. Questions will fly this weekend and unless he's a robot, there's no way it doesn't put him off.

New engine for Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez in Baku. Same spec, their first change of the season.

Pérez previously switched the turbo and MGU-H. Verstappen still nothing at all, except replacement exhaust at the end of April.

Perez is a decent driver, but this forum seems to have Checo fever at the moment.

Verstappen beats Perez comfortably under practically all normal circumstances, so a Perez win seems like an outside bet rather than a likelihood.
