The FIA have announced a clarification to the rules; where they said there must be no moveable aero devices, the race director has now said, that there must be a degree of flexibility in judging the flexibility and full flexibility must be observed to justify a penalty and that flexibility within the bounds of their flexible approach will be observed.

Oh what a difference.
RB is reaching 300klms and with the DRS 330 but Ferrari opens it at 308., goes for a bit to 311 and then drops and its like it doesnt do nothing...
What is this? engine settings? they battery is empty faster than RB?

I wondered where did you saw this numbers and i rewatch the videos. Seems to me RB has more juice in the battery for a whole lap than Ferrari because it reaches high speed number in the start and in the end of the lap but Ferrari reaches above 320 only in the end of the lap.

Confirmation of the lower engine mode from Ferrari, basically they ran the MGU-H at lower mode, they say just in the out lap, which influenced the gap in S1 although F1-75 traction then compensated.

However IMHO data is clear that they ran the engine in conservative mode even in the lap.

Will a low df wing not increase bumping?

if anything it should decrease bumping since there's less pressure on the suspensions to push them down and stall the floor.

LEC got a massive tow from Latifi on his best lap, so RB is still ahead for now.
