Apparently the tyres were gone. But I think he couldn't recharge the battery too.
I think tomorrow it's in RB's hands. The Ferrari might be a sitting duck on the straight, and deg more the rear tyres if we refer to Sainz' statement.

that was actually a mistake on the timing, by the look of it. It's now changed to new softs in the tyre history tab at leastdialtone wrote: ↑11 Jun 2022, 19:23Indeed, they went through q2 with a used set of softs from q1 and were setting better times than RedBull on new softs. Leclerc also sounded confident in the post race interview about the race tomorrow.search wrote:that was my impression as well. Long runs weren't really long enough for much of an indication, and Ferrari looked comfortably able to do several hot laps with the soft tyre (even more than Red Bull) on Friday, so I wouldn't really expect too much degredation problems.
These 2 cars are so close it's hard to say who's going to win tomorrow. Pitstops and strategy are more consistent for RB so there's that variable for them.
I just downloaded the telemetry and it's still that way, I'll re download again later.search wrote:that was actually a mistake on the timing, by the look of it. okay, this is what the browser version shows now. During live coverage it had used ones as well
The sainz and leclerc disagreement is weird but possible I suppose.search wrote:okay, this is what the browser version shows now. During live coverage it had used ones as well
Yeah sure he finished the tyres at turn two...
Both had new shiny tyres in Q2 from onboardsdialtone wrote: ↑11 Jun 2022, 21:03The sainz and leclerc disagreement is weird but possible I suppose.search wrote:okay, this is what the browser version shows now. During live coverage it had used ones as well

I am curious how he held up two McLaren drivers? He was driving slowly looking for toe and he did not block any of them. It was theirs decision to stay behind. They had free choice to overtake but preferred not to.
Legend. Thankyou.
there was a yellow flag, I think?! And potentially caused by Hamilton going this slowly?
Yellow flags were displayed at the next marshal post. And is slowing down under yellow not a good thing? As long as he drives to delta - which he did - he did nothing wrong I guess?search wrote: ↑11 Jun 2022, 22:56there was a yellow flag, I think?! And potentially caused by Hamilton going this slowly?
