They are starting to learn their “new” package and it’s clear that the aero philosophy from Red Bull works, so it was expected for them to start clawing back time compared to the beginning of the season… But, a lot has to do with Vettel himself, this is an street circuit after all and with the walls so close and punishing, confidence not only in the car but yourself plays a big role (not that much different than Monaco in that sense) so it is a mix of both.
But, it isn’t like if the team was that far behind the rest, Lando was out of Q3 by a few hundreds if I’m not mistaken, that’s a very small deficit.
