RIC in the interview after the race seems pretty beat up saying the bouncing is terrible and he is quite sore. I don't think he is acting :D
Typical Diva Daniel Ricciardo, always complaing about something that one.

Drop the act Daniel!

Am I doing it right?

Hamilton was running a different setup (possibly a different floor) which meant he had even worse bouncing than George.

I think his back struggles were genuine to be fair. The onboards shown in the race looked really really bad.

The FIA owe Mercedes a huge favour after the last race of 2021. A mandatory ride height for all teams may well be that debt called upon.

We need a miracle. We need only one racing lap.

Also remember George is just 24 while Ham is 37. Ask anyone who gets to this point if they are resilient as the were, if they say they are, they are lying or deluded.

Theres already a minimum ride height isnt there? I dont think that needs to be raised as there is no max ride height I believe.

Repeated 6G vertical are not small impacts. Over time we could be talking about exposing the drivers to life changing spinal damage. I think something needs to be done.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think Mercedes dropped all the protests and legal action in exchange for the FIA promising them something.

Promising them a favour to be called on when needed could be possible.

It is unfair though to penalise the teams that do not suffer with the problem. It would have to be an agreed 'fix' not a dictate from on high telling everyone 'this will happen next week'

It’s not like VER for instance, who’s in the thick of a championship battle, genuinely gunning for pole and gets beaten; tow-adjusted that’s something like 3 tenths to PER. That’s a comp, like contenders LEC v SAI where there’s zero mystery.
Checo was so fast in Race that he ended 20 seconds ahead of Max!

Sainz said after Monaco that he was really concerned with the health of his neck and back and he wouldn't fancy starting out his career as a rookie as he didn't think careers would be as long.

I would tend to listen to the drivers with out your fan hats on and realise there's potentially a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

If I may answer this from my perspective: I can’t recall hearing Daniel complaining about F1/FIA/whatever. Lewis on the other hand I can’t recall him not complaining. That together with his past of pinpointing stuff that need to be changed which suited him or Mercedes the best makes me at least questioning if this is theatre or real.

I also really want to make clear that I think that Lewis is the best or one of the best F1 drivers ever to have entered the sport. But his mindgames/political games really put a stain on that title for me

Part of me thinks it would be unfair to change the rules when some teams are doing well with it.

But another part of me thinks maybe it will bring closer racing. At the moment we have just swapped which teams are miles ahead, there is too much of a gulf between the teams and that is reducing the fun to be seen.
