I will put Ferrari on pole because their braking has been better than RedBull.
Perez to outqualify Max again because of said heavy braking required here.

Race pace I will put RedBull ahead. Naturally in the RedBull camp Verstappen will be ordained for the win.

Baku RB brought a big change to its front brake duct ducting. Was the first race where they matched Ferrari* on the brakes in quali so maybe that helped the problem. I'll still have Ferrari on pole, but they're also due a few upgrades so hopefully the race pace will be close

I don't think its an improvement as much as the RB18 moving towards his preference for understeer and away from the pointy front end Max likes.

Regardless, I'll go with Leclerc on pole as well. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferrari possibly take a penalty here.

I see lots a guys hitting the wall of champions. Cars are heavier, and are poor at riding the curbs.

There were quite a few cars scraping but not hitting the wall at Baku. I think Sainz's breakdown was caused by a wall scrape.

I personally do not believe that any track is an actual 'home' for any racer. They were not born at the track, they were not raised there, they do not live there, and it is unlikely they have particular superiority of track knowledge more than any other experienced racer. It is not 'home' for anyone. There may be a fan-bias towards a racer from that country where it is being held, and that's great for them. Perhaps other people can call it a 'home' race for someone, but I choose to put it in quotes, both acknowledging that some people call it 'home' and it actually is not. I see tracks as just another location, each with unique properties, in this global sport.
