Considering the last sector here is almost only a long straight, I think you know what the actual cause of that deficit is

They are indeed losing about 0.6s in the last sector. Damn shame because the first two parts of the lap are rather competitive.

RIC 0.285 down after s2. 0.905 down on the finish line. Amazing around corners? (High df package?)

ALO 0.45 down after s2 and then claws it all back and more in s3

All packages are high downforce packages for this car at the moment. The drag is pretty bad.

Apparently Ricciardo's porpoising was being caused by a fault in the suspension at Baku. Ted's information

At Baku they had a lower DF rear wing and a front wing that would balance with it, the drag is not related to the wings.

Of course the drag is related to the wings. Bigger wings will equal more drag. Sounds like you're just referring to the balance of the car.

We don’t know what fuel load etc they are running. It’s very normal for teams to run different programs on their cars across FP1 and FP2 and then use that data overnight to decide on the FP3+ setup.

Daniel was faster on every single lap of FP1, however, it means nothing overall.

Edit: and with 34 mins to go in FP2, Daniel was 2/10ths faster than Lando.

Still, the practice times are meaningless, what matters is qualifying and the race.

Edit 2: and at the end of FP2 Norris was up by 4/100ths of a second, that’s nothing. Both drivers are clearly on form this weekend.

Yes and I notised that he was close behind another car and got a yellow last sector in that lap.
