He said he sent it in the chicane because his lap wasn't so good. He had a couple of moments in S2 after a good S1.

OK I knew he wouldn't get a pole. In dry he isn't as fast as Verstappen, let alone wet.. But P2 was for grabs easy.

If he doesn't clear Alonso at the start he will get stuck behind and it is another easy win for Max..
I hope Alonso had a setup for wet more than for dry, that could hurt their performance on straights.

Lol Maxes RB is far superior from ALo and SAI. Anything than cruising 10s infront or more would be surprise. Its fun to watch this new brutal Max. Almost Red Barron like or Prost with relentless surgical precision forcing competition into mistakes.

Yeah, had he cleared that first corners and the last he probably had enough dry to give them a good go. Instead he wrote his rear wing off
