I think Sainz actually looked good on Friday, and could be more of a challenger than in past weeks - but Alonso in between is obviously a massive issue, and probably nullifies his already slim chances to beat Verstappen on track. Should normally be a win for him indeed, yeah

Issue for Sainz is getting past Alonso. Alonso can defend like a lion perfectly which upsets 7x WDC drivers because they cant get past. It wouldnt surprise me if Max has near 10second lead in the first 10-15 laps.

Wondering if Alonso will go deep to pass Max at the start, if Max is passed, Horner can expect another whine call as usual about the car not working or the tyres/brakes are to blame. =D>

I have seen Hamilton pass Alonso more times than I can remember.

Nobody can overtake at Monaco when the cars are similar. It does not make Alonso some sort of god.

I'm surprised Alonso didn't go for soft.

Mediums having problems? Seems they are graining & could be a 2-stop. Looks like Sainz has only the pace to fight Alonso so far with their tyres having problems

Zhou having a great race

Stupid Kevin managing to tag Lewis as predicted.

TBH, Mag should have just stayed alongside as would have had to be given room anyhow.

Red Bull Racing RBPT:
Car 11: Clutch friction material
Clutch actuator & seal
Front wing and nose assembly
LHS front track rod & associated bolts
LHS front brake drum lower deflector
Internal halo loom

Wonder if the clutch was something to do with that retirement.
