Will be interesting to watch the MCL36 pace today… I’ve always had a theory that the car likes lower temperatures more than hot tracks and with 20C expected for the race, it will be interesting if that is indeed the case.
The race pace was quiet similar to both Alpine and Mercedes (albeit marginally slower) according to F1’s analysis of Friday practice… It will also be interesting to see if some of the guys in front preferred a Qualy setup instead of a Race setup, with a green track after yesterday’s rain, graining is a very high probability with the softer compounds… Hoping for an interesting race and for both drivers to make up some positions and hopefully finish with double points.
