But you’re an armchair ‘fan’ (supposedly) who spouts off every weekend with something or other. If only McLaren had your wisdom and knowledge they’d be untouchable…..Swed3120 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:42Nobody does that intentionally , but it’s still a massive F up on the teams side, did you say the same thing with russel in Bahrain a few years back, it’s not massively difficult to know which tyres to put on a car
I don’t claim to know how to drive a F1 car, but I’m pretty sure I know the difference between yellow and white
I’m afraid you might be right… Still on that half a second gap… Albon doing a very good job out of the last hairpin101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:44Not happening mateSmallSoldier wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:42He will make the overtake… But it has to be quick, because the tire advantage won’t last forever101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:41Stuck behind Albono. Writing was on the wall earlier in the race. Albonos traction looked really good on a worn set. This is destroying NOR race completelySmallSoldier wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:47I’m afraid you might be right… Still on that half a second gap… Albon doing a very good job out of the last hairpin101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:44Not happening mateSmallSoldier wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:42

The only thing he can do is keep the pressure up and hope that Albon makes a mistake… Interesting bit that I overlooked, with Lando been on his previous engine (the one used for practice sessions), he definitely has a deficit in engine power101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 20:49Writing was on the wall earlier in the race. After their whipping in Zandvoort in 2021 Mclaren wanted to address the slow/ medium speed deficit for this season. This misery we are having to endure with no top end speed all season at all tracks needs rewarding with a mega result in the Netherlands
You have to hold it together at all times. As Yoda said... Do, or do not, there is no almost on pole. I think that was him.DragonSGC wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 18:46Both were his errors one of over confidence and the other tunnel vision but in Spa before that moment he was heading for pole, and those I guess are important learning moments for him, how many times has hamilton used China 2007 as a reminder to do or not to do certain things when it gets wet.mwillems wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 16:44Except for Spa and Sochi where he endured a torrid time after poor decisions and overcooking it...DragonSGC wrote: ↑18 Jun 2022, 23:18
Daniel isnt known as a wet weather driver as Ver, Sai, Ham etc is Norris was excellent in changeable conditions last year so not sure where he would have gotten if he didnt have PU issue but it very much looked like the team was a bit lost in setup tyres just werent there.
