Asked whether he wanted to send a message to fans at Zandvoort to show more respect for his title rival this weekend, Verstappen said the booing was inevitable.
"I look at it like this, when you go to a football match, you come into the home ground, the opposition will be booed at some point and it's not up to the local club to go on to the speakers and say 'guys, you cannot boo,' as it will naturally happen," Verstappen said.

Does anyone know the latest with the jewellery ruling from the FIA?? I notice the nose stud is still in on Lewis. The original exemption ran out yesterday and I dont think ive seen anything to say there has been further exemptions.

It's your third post on the subject and your constant immature trolling is dragging the reputation of this forum down. Me and many others are on here for technical stuff that most other forums don't discuss. Please go on to those other boards and go troll.

It’s related to the British GP as a set of rules that have changed/come into effect.

If you have a problem with that, go ask the fia.

The race threads aren’t even a technical thread, if you don’t want to see non tech stuff, maybe try sticking to the car threads for example where technical stuff is discussed.

I can second that. It would even make more sense to talk about onions with some 70+ year old grandfather than discussion racism with him.
Sometimes I even feel that it is insulting from the journalist to drag these too old guys into interviews. They are not at 100% of their brain capacity anymore. Leave them alone.

A strong Mercedes result would serve almost just as well for that. Russell is only 15 point behind Leclerc. If Mercedes brings upgrades that make them close the gap, the difference in reliability could make Mercedes a stronger championship contender than Ferrari.

George is not really the one to watch. Now Lewis is stopping doing the experimental setups for the team each weekend and things are a little more consistent, he will level, then finish ahead in the points.

Which is a shame really. If Lewis was the one with currently more points there may be a slim chance of catching Leclerc etc.

I don’t remember booing being a thing pre Seb Vettels Redbull years? I’m probably wrong but Schumacher was never booed during his Ferrari dominance?
It shouldn’t be accepted as ‘inevitable’. Motorsport fans and football fans are totally different and you can’t draw comparisons between the two. I’m not being classist, it’s just true.
