Race sims are indeed close between top teams.

Sai v Ham on single lap however is closer than it should for mainly 2 reasons:
1. Sai went wide in T15, very easy to see.
2. Judging by rpm and gear tracks: Ham is running higher mode engine. Easy to see when both cars are on 8th gear. But also Ham is shifting up earlier than the car difference would say.
As for the others... Nobody had very clean laps actually, Lec lifted plenty through his lap, Ver made errors in the first couple of corners and didn't really push on final straight and so on.
FP2 quali sim wasn't good quality overall, race sim more representative instead.
I had a feeling Merc would have turned it up a little bit more given it being Silverstone. Wouldnt be surprised if they ran it a little 'more' than normal given they have 2 British drivers infront of a home crowd.
I imagine there will be a few tenths to come off those times from the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari (if they risk turning it up).
Is it a similar scenario for Norris too? Bit higher engine mode?
This is norris v ver v sai. Maybe Norris ran lighter, looking at acceleration out of first corners in s1, but don't see a higher engine mode from rpms.
