Dont think Charles' spin ruined max's lap. max last a lot of time in sector 2.

Well, that was fun. Didn't expect anyone other than Max on pole so very surprised to see Sainz there. Great result for Carlos - well done!

Carlos seems a very likeable guy. Really happy to see him get a pole.

Did Leclerc's spin ruin Verstappen's lap?
No. Max was already slow (for him) well before that.

This will make the race interesting. I expect Leclerc and Verstappen to be fighting for victory. If Verstappen would have gotten pole I think it would have been over

No Max just said he got hindered by the yellow flag. He had to lift.

Well, if Carlos doesn't level up his game tomorrow, this pole will be all in vain. Good job anyway.

Really entertaining session, great stuff for Carols. Didn't expect all that booing - quite disheartening.

Yes, but his middle sector was already down - it's not like he was setting purples and then lost the pole because of that spin.

Imagine if he DNFs with Max going into Copse.......

Just imagine.

I fact, I'm almost 1000% confident Max is going to try a move into Copse.

Sounded to me more like they were apricating his recovery from a very close off.

Agreed. Unfortunately you get that everywhere - Lewis has had his fair share of it too, over the years. Some people seem to like to hate the top guy and Max is currently the top guy. There's probably also some lingering anger from the end of last season.

That's nothing new! It happened to Alonso and Vettel too. Quite classy fans I must say.
