Actually McLaren had similar pillars for quite a while (since last year at least).

Car looks like a platypus but i hope it works good.

The top connected pillars and the two mini wings must be good for something.

I'm surprised the upper elements of hte wing don't have curved surfaces to help the airflow over the front wheels

But those endplates still make me wonder. They look so inelegant, but maybe they are SO elegant, I just can't see the beauty.

What are they, bathroom sinks?

Fan boat hulls?

There is really something uncomfortable visually with this nosecone, it's worse than the former one, which was already horrible. Renault must be happy they're not the most disgracious contender anymore...

But from their early pace from practice, it looks there is a solid improvement. Any available pics of their floor?

Wasn't there a Ferrari? Somewhere in 1994 or 1995, it originally came with a low nose, then they changed it mid-season to a high nose. There was a pelican-like hump below the nosecone.

i believed it was 1996, with schumachers first year at ferrari, the car was a disaster.

The end plates really suck appearance wise.. Why can't they just do something fancy like Brawn Or Toyota? I mean this is why I change from BMW to Mclarren.. they are too conservative!
.. I will keep my fingers crossed until qualifying.
