So apparently, George/Mercedes were saying that he would have driven the car back under it's own power which would have allowed him to join the race after the red flag, but he jumped out to help Zhou and by the time he got back there wasn't time to restart the car and drive it around the circuit.

George was actually up on top of the tyre wall at one point trying to help get to Zhou.

Just seen Gasly onboard, looks like hes clipped georges wheel as he was sandwiched ever so slightly and george moved into his front wheel, which jarred him hard left into Zhou who immediately started to barrell roll.

Reminds me of Hartley in Monza 2018. Just the result was a lot worse.

this, sadly, will probably go against any gravel traps still left on tracks...

Gravel traps are inferior to paved run off and this has been proven hundreds of times. Time to get rid of them

Not feeling like declaring anyone a scapegoat. But rarely does one see a more clear cut incident. George moved to the left towards Gasly, pinching him. Gasly tried backing off, but can't just disappear you know.
