I am deep ashamed for my fellow countrymen to cheer after a hard crash for Hamilton. Stupid gloryhunters.
Hamilton had his fair share of idiot fans. But it does seem Max always has the most of them for some reason. Maybe the fan base is younger on average or something. Dunno.
Maybe Max just has more fans overall…

What a load of nonsense paraded out by HAM fans here. It’s quite clear that booing any driver be it in a crash or out of the car is about as pathetic as it gets

Possible gearbox damage?
I’d be surprised. But the rear wheel was smashed in a bit I guess.

Why, did you miss last race? Brits didn't feel that way.

That was a self-inflicted crash. He was down on his previous best and got overzealous. Wonder how much of that will eat out of the cost cap or if there are spares of the upgrades. He'll probably drive aggressive in the sprint race to make up for the blunder. Probably needs to replace PU and gearbox too or risk reliability during the race.

Pity there goes the three-way fight.
Some serious damage that is ..
Sad cheering too.

Off-topic; it amazes me every time how insanely tall Binotto is for an italian lad ...

I think there was a gust of wind. But the problem was amplified by pushing on worn tyres.

He was probably on for P3 at minimum. Which is a silver lining for them I guess (no pun intended) as they are clearly getting on top of the car now.

If the new TD does what a lot of people expect (me included) they will be the fastest car soon. The season is over of course, but it’s a good way to finish and take into next year.

Look guys keep it civil. This is pathetic.

Any booing be it from a crash or out of the car shouldn’t happen. It’s pathetic whichever way you cut it. And let’s just drop the “there are seemingly more from one side or another”. It’s a blight on this tech forum too. You’re all better than this!

most max fans are new fans driven by DTS... and most are driven by the narrative of ham is the villain and max is the shining prince set to slay the evil emperor...
Geezz .. what is it with you guys !?
Ham today is just experiencing exactly the same many other drivers experienced over the Merc dominated years; he has to extract 100% from the car (instead of 90%), and that just means proportional more risc .. which every now and then just ends like this.

And how salty do you have to be to still be talking about Lewis "getting what he deserves" for crashing out?

Let’s not forget the British fans cheered when max spun last week.

I don’t agree with the cheering/booing but can’t just expect one nation of fans to sit quiet the week after the other set Fans were doing the same.

And that’s a HUGE bill for Mercedes’ tonight
