This car is quite far away from the standard we have been used to these last couple of years.

The consistency is all over the place and we have found ourselves going from midfield leaders to dead last from track to track.

Not to mention the horrid amount of drag the thing has. It's a shame they failed to deliver on the new regs.

Can always turn it around next season, but obviously this one is rather disappointing.

4th is looking less realistic with each passing race.

After some positive years, this one is a bit of a struggle. But it's a struggle where we are in a mix of similar cars on a track by track basis.

Sure beats the struggle when we tried it with Honda.

It happens though.

They had maybe 12 laps in FP 1. Not a surprise the car isn't perfect.

The brakes concern me. It’s extremely demanding on the brakes this track at altitude.

And some people believe that we can fight for fourth place in the WCC  . We have neither a car nor a second driver. The question I would ask is how is it possible that Lando has 58 points and that we are ahead of Alpine? It's a miracle.

Anyone who does not see that something is wrong with this team is blind. The very serious --- of the brakes in preseason mortgaging the entire season, the car that does not overtake even a tricycle, Ricciardo dragging himself on each circuit and nothing happens here... I'm sorry to say it but something smells rotten in Woking.

Not sure if you've been watching, but we have the points because we've finished in some point scoring positions and above some of the challengers. Last race we only finished behind an Alpine because of a mistake.

The car isn't great, but by comparison nor are the others apart from Red Bull and Ferrari.

I love an over to top reaction as much as the next guy. But sone over the top reactions are to much for me

It is obvious that if Lando has 58 points it is because he has earned them. My reflection is more from a general team perspective. Something basic fails when mistakes as serious as the brakes are made in preseason or a new car is created that weakens the strong point of the previous year's car, top speed and no drag. It gives the feeling that you do not have a clear idea of where and how you want to get there. The feeling of lurching without rhyme or reason seems clear to me. That's where my thought went.

So what does Lado do now? New everything? Not a lot to lose is there?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Both drivers should add every component to the pool, we're probably not scoring points this weekend.

Agreed, assuming no impact on cost cap considerations

Yeah, I'd say get new components in the pool. This race is clearly a throwaway unless some major stuff happens up front.

It really is Canada pt. 2; Norris new engine which has an issue and causes him to switch back to an old engine before qualifying. RIC nowhere again and the car looks like it's got a parachute on it. Barring rain or some insane attrition, it's going to be another 11th and 14th kinda weekend I fear.

This year is starting to remind me of 2018. Embarrassing. Riccardo should be fired immediately.
