Legendary defence from Mick Schumacher. Epic. Mag should have slowed up a bit though to help with DRS

Magnussen is such a poor team player. Could have helped Mick finish 8th.

Gasly dum.

Especially after what happened last weekend.

Not a huge fan of these sprint races, fairly uneventful
Aye, prefer the regular format. The fact there’s no more sprint races this year than last seems to suggest FOM isn’t exactly sold on the idea either.

It’s like a longer race with a break of 24 hours.

More first Lap contact for Lewis.
That is very weird. Gasley made the contact, which he has done in3 sprint races so far and in the last two track starts.

Weird to call this Hamilton, your bias is making you sound a bit weird in so many threads, you have an unhealthy obsession with toto and Hamilton.

I agree.

It seems to server as a mechanism for works teams to undo their quali mistakes.

Both Perez and himlton record an improvement for free, whilst I would like to see Hamilton fight with the leaders again, this isn't the way to do it, in terms of Perez, it's just silly now that the cheating I quali is now effectively voided.

Of course this is only a issue due to the formula, so I accept that a sprint race may be the unfair victim here

When there is no Ferrari strategy involved, the Ferrari drivers can still help Max win. Binotto's "you can fight" message is not ageing well.

what a joke of a penalty for Albon
Absolutely correct penalty, forcing other cars off track is illegal, unfortunately they refuse to enforce the rules at all times.

Albon was punished for doing what the two Redbull drivers did at Silverstone.

Sometimes it seems like the rules are different depending on who team and who is the driver. :-k

In my view if they penalized Albon for forcing Norris off the track (which they weren’t doing at last week’s race), he should be penalized for punting Vettel off into the gravel.
