I reckon Perez will sharp clear Russell. Be interesting if he can clear a Ferrari or 2, but I reckon strategy will help him with that one.

That was excessive aggresive... :? Perez couldn't back off safely, if Hamilton had squeezed him even 5 cm more. That could be another crash caused by Hamilton!

That’s quite optimistic, today Ferrari looked as quick as redbull?

But then again, Perez was in his post sprint interview also expecting to reach the podium tomorrow.

Didn’t specifically say passing Ferrari but will be interesting.

Race pace I think red bull has it, max will have just been cruising round I’d dare imagine

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: Leaving a car width is "excessive aggressive" but I don't recall you posting such clips of Sergio or Max pushing cars completely off the track last week? Got to be consistent with this kind of analysis surely!

I do think lewis pushed Perez to the extreme limit and was very borderline considering Perez wheel was alongside ham and he pushed him onto white line.

I think if Perez had put a wheel on the grass it would have been a different story though. Hard but fair racing.

Blimey, I fell asleep and only bloody now just woke up. Look like I didn't miss much. Looks like tomorrow is going to be a proper borefest. Did anyone enjoy the sprint or was it just me who couldn't keep my eyes open?

Well worth a watch for Mick Schumachers ~10lap defence of Hamilton. What a bit of driving that was.

I don't think there's a car width there considering the front wheel of Perez is overlapped with Hamilton's rear in order to stay on track

A car width? Where do you see a car width? I don't!

It was borderline. Just like with Gasly, who imho needs some more 3D situational awareness as he finds himself in these situations way too often.

For F1 2D 'situational awareness' is normally enough :D

It was an absolute bore fest. Alonso said it best, DRS train that will likely continue into the race.

I hope I'm wrong, and that the Ferraris can pose any kind of challenge, but the reality is they bungle the strategy even when their car is at their best. It's funny, but I have a feeling many of those Mercedes haters would secretly wish they'd make their way back to the front, so someone could at least pose a challenge to Max and Red Bull.

And with that Lewis has every right to crowd him. It's hard but fair, and it's that way from karts, to SCCA Spec Miata, to F1. Sergio did brake late and squeezed across Hamilton's nose, I'd argue that was a more aggressive move, as with Albon who was completely off track (and subsequently should have been penalized).
