Shame we can’t have the track extended and at least the flavour of how it used to be. The Osterreich ring was a glorious venue. What we have now is more like a Kart track.
Thanks for posting that, totally agree on the Kart track nature of the new track, much like the current Hockenheim. More variety in tracks would lead to bigger design compromises on the cars due to the range of set-ups required through a season.

But we have that variety now, don't we? Slow and winding Hungaroring, fast and classic Monza, Gokart'ish Red Bull Ring, Tilkedroms like Abu Dhabi Circuit, street race in Singapore etc. I don't think that Red Bull Ring should be "repaired" by changing it's layout

Since i have the video files open anyways:

Albon in that corner is a classic example of first lap track excursions which should absolutely not be allowed, but are tolerated, something Alonso has been very vocal about.

On corner entry he goes completely off track even though he could still keep his right wheels inside, probably to open up the corner and benefit from it, then he's three wide on the outside and decides to leave the track without justifiable reason just early enough to avoid the sausage even though there's more than enough space for him to yield into like he should, he then just floors it off track.

Awesome camera angles and to top it off the sense of speed is totally better than what we have been getting in recent times.

F1 should tune the cameras to give this sense of speed again. Whethere it's to reduce the stabilization or the F-stop or whatever camera geeks like to talk about.

...

At the end of the day, both Merc drivers went out because they asked too much of the car.

...
It seems that both accidents were due to a raised car at the back and that could both prevent bottoming and a prospect of a wet race tomorrow ...

The raised back floor forced the car to stall mid-corner, according to Peter Windsor (and only on a low/qualy setup I dare to add):

Ham went 11kph faster in T6 and tried 20kph faster in T7, he just went too fast. Both drivers talked about having made mistakes in the interviews after quali, Wolff said that they were driving too close to the limit.

Data, drivers and team principal all agree that it was their mistake.
Indubitably, data it`s the real proof rather than PR statements from both the drivers and Toto ... but how about the fact that both in qualy and in the race HAM was some 6-7kph slower than PER or VER in the first intermediate speed check point (before turn 3 were almost all overtaking are taking place?) even though he was running the lower DF RW? Could be possible that the car`s rise at the back induced more drag?

Drunk fans (Dutch fans according to reports - see the link below) showing totally unacceptable behaviour including groping women, racist chants, cat calling / wolf whistling women and even girls. Not good and I hope the FIA / Liberty do something about it - if the track's own security can't get in and evict these people, perhaps the track should lose its race. With the cameras around these days, I'm surprised they can't identify the perpetrators like they do in football these days.

F1 needs to stamp out this sort of thing - this is 2022, not 1972.

Do we have any evidence, or is this all based on one tweet?

I’ve being to silverstone twice and Monza once, (all pre 2010) never felt any intimidation or bad sexual conduct at anytime at these events. Sad if it is changing.

I’m Sure the same happens at most of the GP’s by a small isolated few.

I shared a video the other week of similar.

Totally out of order, can’t see a reason for a fan base to be united in the sport they love to see.

The FIA has indeed issued a statement in response to this Tweet and the comments below.
They invited her and talked to her.

You actually think it’s coming from just one persons tweet

Read the tweet thread and there are plenty of individuals complaining. When you have people saying they won't go the race again, Liberty will be worried. Money talks.

I don’t think liberty will be bothered about a small number of people saying they won’t go again to the GP. The tickets will always sell out.

It is, however, no excuse to detract from the issue being discussed here
