RedBull #RB18 update. The floor shock absorbing spring has been changed from the conventional disc spring type to the coil spring type used by Haas #VF22. The advantage is that the range of movement is widened and it is easy to change the preload when changing the setup. The technology adopted by the lower teams is interesting. - Google Translated.
Completely false information I'm afraid. I already dug into this and replied to the user on Twitter only enquiring about the source image (and suggesting it was from an article from The Race) and was immediately blocked. They post similarly dubious things each race weekend on Friday.

The first image - the supposedly new RB18 t-tray spring - is from an article by Gary Anderson from 8th July: https://the-race.com/formula-1/gary-and ... explained/ about halfway down

The photo is listed in the article as being the Haas t-tray.

I see more and more of these sort of twitter accounts that gain attention through reporting false information that's difficult to deny. Thankfully in this case it only took a few minutes to fact check

Next laptime will not be deleted anymore after an off in T10

Was probably just a copy/paste from Austria.

Does running wide there help the next lap? I'd be surprised if it did.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

It was very likely just a lazy carry over from the Austria event notes, T10 is the fast right hander after the second part of the long straight ....... but going wide in the last corner T15 here probably costs more time than it brings, so no point deleting the next lap as well i think.

Will be interesting to see what happens with top speeds this weekend. RB with their medium wing matched Ferrari's top speeds with their medium-low load wing. This weekend RB are using their medium-low load wing which came out firstly at Baku

Sorry but Fric and Das were totally legal and didn't circumvent any rules.
wrong, FRIC was banned by the spirit of the rules because there was a rule about not (elettronical) interconnection between axels and they did it in the idraulic way. So fia made a rule banning idraulic interconnection of the axels.
sorry 8)
FRIC was legal until they changed the rules to specifically outlaw it. DAS was legal until they changed the rules to specifically outlaw it.
Which is a lot like the flexi floors, right now they are legal they pass all the rules and tests. Spirit of the rules they push the the boundaries of, F1 has a history of things, the (forget what it was called now) hole in the cockpit drivers would cover to stall the RW, legal but not really in the intent of the rules. I think all teams exploit this grey area if it befits them.

There's a massive bump approaching the apex of turn 5. The track drops away and then kicks back up. Suspect that could help the F1-75 here given how well they've been riding bumps all year. Also bumpy in braking into 8 So much for completely smooth circuit

George locked up there with the car completely unsettled. its not happy there but maybe they can avoid it.

Sainz takes new CE, so 10-place. This means the rest of the engine will come throughout the weekend; back of the grid start I'm sure

Given the precedent they set with Charles, you can take that to the bank.

Plus it would be a bit odd after the level of engine failure they had in Austria, they only changed a CE

Were RB and Ferrari running similar wings?

Since Baku Ferrari has been running very detuned engines in FP, if that's why you are asking.

Go back to page 6, there's a link to a tweet with RWs (incl Ferrari's), first reply to it has the RB wing
