What is the rationale for not stopping the watch for red flags re this FP3?
They never stop the watch in FP when a red comes out.
Yes I know that, but why?
They can't delay other races because F1 has red flag.

It is practice and there are other series that need to run.
Unacceptable, when I am ruler of the universe that rule will be deleted
Does not happen in MotoGP and there other classes to run on the day.

really good job by those Williams guys indeed. We've had some surprise results in the past when other teams didn't bother to go out, but this was more or less on equal terms today.

Sure, some didn't catch another lap in the end when the conditions were best, but Sainz for example did, and Latifi was still quicker.

I saw it's dry indeed on the doppler.
There appears an increased possibility between 16:20 and 16:50 .. (hope my timezones are correct)

Will we see the Aston Martin being more difficult to follow closely?

Teoretically yes. But pratically? No really just miniscule. Floor is still working as FIA intended.

Unnecessarily nervy there by Ferrari. Why go out so late? Why run used tyres in the second run?

Smart from Ferrari. Just use track evolution and clear track.

Yeah, saves a set of fresh softs. No idea why Merc wasted a set of fresh tyres in Q1 when they were safe from the drop.

Last man over the line will be key. Track evolution is pretty big today.
