Czestochowa, Polska, May 12, 2009 (www.donskarPR.com) -- The Formula One world was rocked today by the exciting announcement of the birth of a new Formula One Racing Team.

Pyotr Dmcvznzkielzp, Grand Admiral and Commander of the Polish High Seas Fleet will lead the new team, to be called Rzeczypospolitej Indypenskyi Polskiej (Republic of Independent Poland: RIP).

Shown in prototype form, graced in Poland’s national colors, red over white, the new car will be designed and constructed by a team including Poland’s finest minds from both the military and the Polish auto industry. The design team will be based at the Delphi Krakow Technical Center, with actual construction of the race car undertaken at the Fiat Poland Bielsko-Biala plant.

Speaking at the prototype’s unveiling, Admiral Dmcvznzkielzp proclaimed, “This is the dawning of a new day for Poland and its technical might. Using the latest technology developed in Poland – breakthroughs such as advanced riveting, lightweight finned aluminum brake drums, and thin wall cast iron – we will assume our rightful place in the pinnacle of international auto racing.”

Andrej Rkejhkliepj, Poland’s Olympic weight lifter has been named as the team’s lead driver.

Sponsorship comes form major Polish industries: Polski Wyrob Pickles of Warsaw; the Whjkyskipirzski toothpick works at Sklerniewice; and the Scheiskopf Vodka corporation, near Wloclawek. Catering and entertainment at race venues will be supported by the powerful Polish Potato Combine.

Testing will begin at the new test track at Ostrowlec Swetokrzyski as soon as the new brick surface has been fully cured.

Agreed, after reading this article, my impression is that all that talk has absolutely nothing concrete to back it up. All he says is "we're going to do this, we're going to do that". I'll believe it when I see something a little more substantial than just ramblings and hollow promises.

It sounds like a joke but I am afraid Mr. Windsor may taking it seriously. My former manager, at the time when I was working for the world biggest gas turbine manufacturer (by coincidence it's an american company...), was absolutely sure that having CAD models (no analyzes to substantiate what was put on the screen) is equal to having the design ready to release.

"Personnel is an interesting one because a lot of the personnel that are involved in the design and build of the car, we are going to be hiring them very, very soon. And we will be up to full capacity by July/August in that area."

other team will have (almost) frozen design in few weeks and USF1 will soon start recruiting. I suppose newly hired would have to bring their own computers, software, test benches, wind tunnel and so on to speed-up the process.

By no means am I a fan of Peter Windsor, but the man could save himself alot of jesting if he were to use his journalism experience to present his teams position.

I have listened to him put many an F1 personality on the spot with his sly interviewing tactics, but he doesn't seem to take those types of things into account when he opens his mouth about what USGP.

My hope is that the world doesn't judge the USA based upon its F1 representative as it does our politicians.

Currently, the world hates us enough as it is!

There seems to be little respect for Mr Windsor around these parts.

I think that his connections, and his love for the sport are two huge plusses.

He has been rubbing shoulders with the whole paddock for a long time now, and for the most part I enjoy his pit walks and interview style.

This is his first crack at running a GP team, and to me he comes across as very excited about it, and seems to put his foot in his mouth for just this reason. His interviewing style isn't much different, but it is effective. He plays impartial, but he makes no secrets that he is more pleased when a UK driver does well.

Im curious to know how extensive their CAD car is. Considering how much can be done in virtual space, this is far more meaningful, then say, Super Aguri running around in 4 year old Arrows lunchboxes with wheels.

Let's hope we see some more focus and tangibility out of them.

I for one, am sending good vibes their way. I really want F1 back here in North American.

As for Mr Windsor's unsubstantiated claims, it may be a good idea to hold back until we know how the results of the 2-tier championship farce turn out. MAd Max may yet get his way, handing these guys a major advantage.

Plus, of course, a lot of us were saying that Ross Brawn's talk of their car being a front runner was unsubstantiated drivel back in december!!!

I still doubt that USGPE will achieve anything, but this year should have taught us that a team can be at it's most dangerous when you've already written them off.
