VER with a silly spin and still wins easy. It’s almost incumbent on Merc to get their s**t together, Ferrari are just incompetent.
He drove so fast that even a spin wasnt too big of a deal for the outcome.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Great race, so cool to see a genuine 3 way fight between teams, at the start of that last stint I didn't have a clue who would win.

I thought either Saintz or Ham were going to win but Max did really well to manage the pace on those mediums

Max deserves the championship this year. P10 to P1 in Hungary is no joke.

Lewis fighting up to P2 and getting a fastest lap too boot. Hopefully the Mercs are back for real.

George... gutted to see him slide back down from P1. He held the Ferraris well on the first stint.

Ferrari blew this. On raw pace, I think they were faster than the Mercs or at worst, equal in pace. They dropped the ball on strategy here and pit performance. Red Bull has the championship in the bag.

Champion's drive by Max, and steady strategy by RedBull. They deserve it.
Champions result, he still spun it, not a flawless drive.

Mercedes is going to P2 at the end of the year in constructors if Ferrari don't stop Ferrari-ING everything.

They had ONE car to overtake to win this race and still fell way off the podium.

I am now convinced Mercedes were on for the win on pure pace if Hams DRS didn't break.
If Verstappen's hadn't had engine issues, if Perez hadn't had a poor qualy, if Ferrari hadn't shot themselves in the leg with Leclerc, if Sainz had had better tyre management... #-o

It demonstrates the advantage, it shouldn’t be that easy.

Had they put ham on softs at the start, he'd have won this race but alas, hindsight is a beautiful thing.
Why would HAM on softs mimicking RUS tire strategy put him any higher up? Med med soft was the fastest strategy, if you take fuel loads and traffic into consideration.

Yes that's what I said. If he didn't have a broken DRS in quali, his pace in the car was fast enough to win this race as it panned out.

Dont think that's too controversial a view. Why so upset?

Redbull fear mercedes not for political reason as they said but they know that if they have a fast car its another level to ferrari

Champions drive from Lewis in the 3rd fastest car and a sub optimal strategy.

Max did what we expect in the best car, a team mate who moves out the way and starting on the softs which was the best strategy today. He did make a mistake and spin on track though so not quite a Champions drive but still a solid drive.

Ferrari are just terrible on strategy as usual.

We were watching this from 2014 to 2021 at Mercedes. It is atleast a nice change.

Wasn't it great to see the fighting at the front and all being done firm but fair. Hungary is often a borefest but this one was a great race. Mixed grid helped, of course. Not a bad end to the first half of the season.

Bad to worse. Why does Ferrari despise Leclerc so much?
I was really rooting for Charles because you know, everyone is a Ferrari fan, but It's so sad. I shed a tear for them today.

Another win thrown away by Ferrari. They have an absolutely diabolical strategy team.

It was a pretty good race though - lots of action.
