No. They are tyres that they sent to the FIA at the end of 2008 so the compounds don't change.

Hm interesting. Didn't realize compounds had been "locked" for 2009.

In any event though... "softness" is really not a good way of describing grip and wear of a compound.
Grip is a four letter word. All opinions are my own and not those of current or previous employers.
