The article mentions a second team who has registered a new chassis for after the summer. I am guessing alpha tauri

I predicted chassis carry over long ago. It just seems to be the best bang for the buck under cost cap.

I think the wrong question is being asked. The question is, why would you not use a turnbuckle mechanism when supporting a floor? All teams are doing this. These systems have tolerance stackups. The distance between two points in space in the cad model will be different to that of those points in real life. If you don't build in adjustability you won't be able to position the parts properly.

Look at the diffuser on this GTE car. The entire rear is supposed by turnbuckles. It's not an elaborate scheme to run a hydraulic floor...It's just a very basic concept in the design of overly constrained systems.

Significantly less paint (more black) on the sidepod this weekend than ever before this year. At Spa the paint begins halfway through the "Red Bull" logo, and covers much less of the sidepod area

The engine cover paint is similar to the Hungary one, I studied it quite a bit and believe it was either Hungary or France that it curved up, basically as part of the shelf engine cover.

This is Hungary. The paint curves up, but look at where the black curtails. There is significantly more paint on the Hungary image than the sidepods seen today. Regardless, some better comparison shots will be available later
