Monza had crazy DRS trains last years, and midfielders like Alpine or McLaren can be fast here.
I think so too. No idea if Perez will do the same, though, or wait for Zandvoort (which they obviously can't do with Verstappen)
They would not take a grid drop at Zandvoort if avoidable..search wrote: ↑25 Aug 2022, 20:57I think so too. No idea if Perez will do the same, though, or wait for Zandvoort (which they obviously can't do with Verstappen)
Might not be as easy with the lack of slipstream effect compared to the previous formula. Guess it will ultimately depend on if they can follow through ascari and the parabolica better than before.
On the contrary, i think because with the current cars you can follow closer, they can stack to the back of the other more close than previous years in eau rouge so when DRS will open the pass will come earlier in the straight.InsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑25 Aug 2022, 22:12Might not be as easy with the lack of slipstream effect compared to the previous formula. God I hope so. Oh well we will see
F1 is a side line for many circuits these days. Meeting their requirements means that most other series make more economic sense.Noetiepoerker26 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2022, 20:04I believe that the majority of the track's changes were carried out to better accommodate motorcycle races, Spa wants to organise a 24H motorcycle endurance race. The changes are obligated by the FIM as far as I'm concerned.

The loss of engine mode switching seemed to hit overtaking at Monza the most. Possibly because DRS is already ineffective.InsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑25 Aug 2022, 22:34God I hope so.
