Yes. The area covering the fuel cell as well as the ES + anything on the front of the engine that goes inside the bulkhead. Photo clearly shows the top four engine mounting studs projecting from the bulkhead. These top four studs fastens the cylinder heads. Another two lower down fastens the lower crankcase.

We’ll take the it.motorsport rumours with a pinch of salt but presuming Ferrari do have a new hybrid capable of adding any performance at all to the PU (which will subsequently be frozen for 3.5 seasons), doing so in exchange for a 5 place drop at a track where you can overtake seems like a no-brainer (especially given they’ll want to avoid any penalties in Monza).

The 15 HP he is speculating about could as well be as a result of reliability work FERRARI was allowed to carry on the ICE. And this does not mean any contravention of what the rules allows. It could mean that FERRARI was running their ICE in detuned form because of reliability problems.

Only Ferrari did design their car like that from the very beginning. Also McLaren and Haas are using sidepod solution similar to Ferraris "bathtube". So in terms of aero-concepts - i think its fair to say teams are going more into the Ferrari- direction and solutions with similar effects.

Who else had sidepods with that kind of "channels" or higher sidewalls at the beginning of the season? Only Ferrari. Now some teams have implemented similar ideas.

The bracket does not extend to the upper edge with the extra metal piece to hold it - that might be indeed new, at least i can't recall any of their wings without that, even the trimmed ones - if it's not for the list it might be a test item for Monza?

Sainz also tested the new wing in FP2
