Must be fake. The real account is https://twitter.com/AlpineF1Team

So someone created the same twitter handle with an extra m at the end, copied most of the profile. Also the double mm handle only joined August 2022.

Daniel says he won’t make any decisions for 2023 until after the Italian GP.

Gasly to Alpine seems to be heating up. Sky Sports said negotiations already under way.

If the rumours from RedBull are true, he has a diva attitude and that’s why he was never given a second chance at RBR.

Would Alpine really want a driver like him? (Aside from him being French)

That was 2019. He wasn’t given a second chance because Marko doesn’t give second chances for that seat.

Regardless, he’s done very well since returning to AT. Marko and Tost have praised his performance.

He’s still a top level talent that would bring excitement to the team and brand. Don’t need to gamble on whether he’s on form either.

Kyvat got a second chance at RedBull, so it is possible.

Second chance to Toro Rosso/AT. That’s different.

True, however 3 separate stints at TR/AT + 1 at RBR is quite unusual (2018 he was on loan to Ferrari as a reserve driver iirc).

So, shall we see Ric in AT instead of Alpine. I would like to have Ric in Alpine instead of Gassly.

Not a chance. Ricciardo wouldn’t do it and AT is not signing anyone outside of the RBDA.

I think for them Kvyat was a very known quantity so a useful benchmark and why he kept returning to TR/AT. When Gasly clearly exceeded Kvyat, they had no use for Kvyat and began to use Gasly as the new mark by which to measure their other drivers .

Good news. Ric signed with Alpine for 2023.
Jeez, that was fast! =D>

Do you have a link?
I haven't seen any news but there is alot of BS out there.

I think, based on how confident Otmar was plus that McLaren was mum on Piastri, that both Horner and Wolfe frowned upon Piastri moving to McLaren cause of how it might affect their future jr drivers movements, they're gonna rule in Alpine favour. If McLaren want Piastri, they'll have to pay tens of millions of dollars for his services for each of the next two years to Alpine. Otmar claimed he was under contract until the end of 2024.

If teams can't hang on to their Jr. Drivers to recoup their investment, then what's the point in investing at all in F2 and F3?

It's possible that Alpine screwed up the contract but how likely is that? I would think that contract isn't something new and is straight forward.
