T7 and T3, 2022 cars are quicker, everywhere else is equal or slower. T4 and T14 are the weakest points for new cars. Will be interesting to see how quick the new cars take T3 - bet it will feel really good to drive that banking (as long as bouncing isn't too bad)

We'll see about that. IMO zero chance of that actually happening. I'm equally sceptical DRS trough banking will last longer than fp1.

Which is a pity. There was a time not long ago where they could open it wherever they want in Q. Now they will cry once the first car bounces in T14...which they will.

Interesting ... huge difference in T3, and even T14 with that prolonged DRS.
Like Juzh says, dunno whether things will play out the way the 2022 map shows.
Then again, the Merc team obviously knows a whole lot more than me ofcourse.

Threath of rain seems to diminish, little overcast for sat/sun, and temps between 22-25.

This seems unlikely to me. It is the first time I look at the cornerspeed comparison. So maybe someone can explain the general differences between 2022 and 2021. Are they slower in the slow corners and faster in the fast? more problems with accelerating? so much?
T14 was and is flat, and will get DRS now. Why 40 kmh slower? The cars are heavier, but not that slow.
T4 also flat from T3. In T3 they expect to be 25 kms faster but then 200 m later 70 kmh slower, but still arrive at almost the same speed later. Strange.

These track maps from mercedes are all a bunch of baloney made by some bloke in marketing, not worth a second look. They predict 70 kmh slower T4 for gods sake.

For example, 2021 hamilton's actual lap in Q3:
T1 - 127 km/h - 3. gear
T2 - 198 km/h - 5. gear
T3 - 132 km/h - 3. gear
T4 - 240 km/h - 6. gear
T7 - 264 km/h - 7. gear

Some of the rest are close enough, but then others are just so far off it makes it useless to take it as any kind of refence.
