Yes, with its low drag and high top speeds all season I'd think the RB18 should do well here.
Interesting how Monza went from probably RB's worst track in the past to one of their prospective best with the current machines.
Yes for a long time they were known as the Monaco type car. High DF and high rake. Goes to show they as a team are still leading at aero in more ways than one; they apparently were able to determine that outright peak DF was not to be prioritized this season with the new formula. The 2022 gives them their floor downforce with out excessive rake; the rest is history.

Predictions:
P2 Perez
P3 Alonso

Not worth predicting P1 we all know who'll win. But would be lovely to Alonso on the podium, the car has good race pace in his hands he even had the best race pace in Zandvoort.

Indeed, Latifi's dominance is getting too predictable.

Perez may take a penalty, I guess? He is the only Honda driver without one so far, and the next two races aren't really an option.

Since Max took an engine in back to back races in Hungary and Spa, I'd be curious if Red Bull opted to use the Hungary PU in Zandvoort so that the Spa PU could be saved and used for Monza. Would make sense to me.

Plus they still got that PU2 they faked a problem before race in Hungary in order to reach maximum allowance by Spa... Even the PU1 is usable. Too many engines now, they can play it as they want. The only thing, it could be that only 1 updated ERS though...

Great fake. Missing out on a Q3 run to truly sell the fake. Genius.....

Wow that was a great plan to fake a failure. P10 in quali and at Hungary - a circuit that's difficult to overtake on.

Why would they fake it? Explain please

This is the true test of the zero pods. Smooth track for the straights... But the curbs! Will wreak havock on their stiff suspension.

Merceses can easily put on their winter testing sidepods for this race.

I am predicition ferrari double dnf from engine failure. They may turn the engines up to 11 to desperately try and win here.

Max will be 1.5 second per lap faster.
Perez 1 second faster.

Second best may be Alpine i suspect.
For Sure!!

Milano 07 September 2022

Scuderia Ferrari is preparing to take to the track with a special look for the Italian Grand Prix which takes place this weekend at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.
The car livery as well as the race suits and helmets of drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will all have some yellow touches to celebrate the origins of the marque with a colour that is very much part of Ferrari history.

From the Scuderia's beginnings in 1929 and later when the car company was founded 75 years ago, Enzo Ferrari chose yellow, which along with blue is one of the colours of the Modena emblem, to feature on the company's coat of arms,
the Prancing Horse with the tricolour band at the top.
It's a very special look to mark a very special occasion, the 100 year anniversary of the Monza circuit.
