You'd think that even if Charles wins the race, Carlos on this race start alone is in-line for driver of the day...

so, another tear off in break duct, for Perez this time?

though, interesting, that with the old wheel still on, the smoke plume seemed to rotate together with the wheel

Yep, great job! Everyone else is stuck in the train, he just cuts through like butter.
And VSC coming? Good news for the softrunners.

least now ppl should stop the argument. That RB is class apart. only Ferrari manages to come closer that too only for intial 5-7 laps.
Well, to be fair, the argument that was held in the Zandvoort thread was in response to claims that the RB18 was dominant for the entire season so far - the outcome here doesn't affect that.
Whether or not the RB18 is the faster car at this stage is another argument - and whether it's a dominant car is another discussion still.
Ferrari raced away at the start but by lap 10 we can see regular trend , ferrari is loosing its speed Max is catching. This has been there from the start
its only thag TD has increased the advantage so.much so that its bluntly visible.

Ok, Leclerc coming in and Max staying out was not what I expected. Should be interesting!

VERY Tight stop for Ferrari there... lucky... BUT I can imagine Max will just stretch this stint out as much as possible and will be very rapid towards the end on fresher Mediums.

If anything, this is going to play really well into Max' hands, barring any Safety Cars...

Well, if the difference was not visible before the summer break, that pretty much means the cars were equal back then :)
(and the RB was certainly not dominant as a car, which was the original argument - if it was, it would have been bluntly visible already)

Sainz is flying.

Charles seems to have committed to a 2stop. RB could eek a 1 stop out

That's a comforting radio message from Ferrari and Charles, arguing about Short Shifting with the Power Unit...

Another ticking time-bomb?

Video images that have gone viral show some Ferrari fans making a threatening statement in the Monza stands.
The images show how several men threaten fans of Max Verstappen. The Verstappen fans are forced to remove on their Red Bull caps.
There are also messages of chants in the direction of Verstappen. It is not yet clear whether any action has been taken against the group of misbehaving fans.

No no these are Italian Ferrari fans so it's passion!
Being forced to take off a hat is different from obliging a crowd of people who want you to take a hat off. One can assimilate into a crowd out of politeness, or one can choose to draw attention to themselves. One can be the polite tourist, or the loud obnoxious tourist. Why would one want to sit within a group of red and be the only one wearing blue, the only one cheering for blue.

2 Stop is suicide at Monza, unless there is a Safety Car or VSC... if Ferrari stop again without that, they'll gift Max the victory. They have to go to the end now on those Mediums.

In saying that, I think Max will easily have the speed on those Fresh Mediums to pull that gap in back to Charles. His pace on the Softs at the moment is still very strong.

This has to be the nail in the coffin for Binotto. Another brainless strategy.

That's how it's been for years and how it should be. Just making a joke to highlight the double standards being applied.
